I work for an orthotic brace manufacturer in the U.S. I am currently
investigating various products to provide 3D scanning of anatomical
shapes. The computer models generated will be used to manufacture
custom corrective bracing products. I am familiar with Polhemus
FastSCAN(tm), TracerCAD, and Vorum's ScanGogh.
Does anyone have any experience working with these products or knowledge
of others? It is important that the scanning software provide tools for
manipulating the model once scanned to correct patient deformities.
