I am searching for information about a postural reflex called "the parachute reflex". This reaction is observed in infants between 4 months and two years of age. I occurs when the child is suspended in space, face down, and then plunged towards a flat surface. In these circumstances the infants upper limbs extend. Any information relating to this subject would be greatly appreciated.
