Colleagues--
This is the second announcement and call for abstracts for the Eight Annual
Symposium on Computational Methods in Orthopaedic Biomechanics (the
"pre-ORS" meeting). The pre-ORS symposium will be held on Saturday, March
11, 2000 at the Grand Floridian Hotel & Resort, Walt Disney World, Orlando,
FL. Registration will begin at 8 a.m., with a single session format running
through the afternoon.
Abstracts are requested for all areas of computational research of interest
to the general orthopaedic biomechanics community. As in the past, this
meeting is an informal forum for graduate students and postdocs to present
their ongoing research. Presentations should be given by the
student/postdoc primarily responsible for the research, not by the PI.
Abstract forms can be requested directly from the conference web site:
www.me.gatech.edu/pre-ORS. Abstracts are due by Friday, December 17, 1999.
Additional information is also available at the web site, and a
pre-registration form will be posted soon. As in previous years, there will
be no registration fee for the symposium. Questions, updates to e-mail
addresses, or requests to be added to the distribution list should be
submitted by e-mail to preors2000@me.gatech.edu.
