Mayo Foundation is seeking an individual to join Mayo's Biomechanics Laboratory
as a Materials Testing Engineer. This interesting position will involve
responsibility for the stress analysis by experimental or analytical methods
of all biomaterial or biological specimens used in Orthopedic research and
other department studies. The position also is responsible for the
supervision and maintenance of a material testing laboratory. Successful
candidates should have a master's degree in mechanical or biomechanical
engineering or significant related experience. Candidates should have skills
in the application of finite element analysis to mechanical problems. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
