POSITION:
Full-time, Assistant Professor, tenure track position in the Physical
Education Department in Biomechanics
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Doctorate or ABD in Biomechanics or related area.
Preferred: College/university teaching experience; B.S. in Physical Education.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in
Biomechanics; physical education major advisement; related scholarly work.
SALARY: Competitive with qualifications and experience; excellent fringe

THE DEPARTMENT:
The Physical Education Department of SUNY Cortland has programs leading to
the B.S., B.S.E., and M.Ed. degrees. About 1,500 students are currently
enrolled in the programs of the Department. The college, located in the
city of Cortland (population of 25,000), has a student enrollment of
approximately 7,000.
