Shriners Hospitals for Children-Shreveport, a 45-bed JCAHO accredited
pediatric orthopaedic hospital, is currently seeking a dynamic, innovative
engineer to work with an interdisciplinary team in our Motion Analysis
Laboratory.

The candidate will be required to perform clinical studies on a pediatric
population. Training will be provided; however, the candidate should have
experience working with the following systems/equipment:

Vicon 370 Data Capture System
6-camera (60 Hz) with 3 AMTI Force Plates
10-channel EMG MA200 System
Novel Win EMED-SF Pedobarograph System
VCM Software

The qualified candidate should:

Have at lease a bachelors degree in bio-medical or mechanical engineering
and preferably one year of experience specializing in gait and motion
analysis.

Have a demonstrated ability to develop and evaluate biomechanical models and
computer based systems to measure human movement.

Have a demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team,
striving to provide the best possible care to our pediatric patients (ages
0-18), in a family-centered care environment.
