St George's Healthcare NHS Trust
DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL PHYSICS AND BIOENGINEERING
BIOENGINEER (GAIT ANALYSIS) GRADE B11-13
£22,584 - £24,253 pa inc (pay award pending)
An enthusiastic and well motivated graduate engineer is required to join
the Clinical Biomedical Engineering Centre (CBEC) at Roehampton, to provide
and develop high quality bioengineering services at Roehampton
Rehabilitation Centre (RRC), London SW15. The successful candidate will
work in, and have the opportunity to develop, the recently established gait
laboratory, and to partake in a lively programme of research and
development. CBEC is a collaborative venture between the Rehabilitation
Centre and the University of Surrey, thereby benefiting from the strengths
of both institutions. The Centre is linked with the Department of Medical
Physics and Bioengineering within St George's Healthcare NHS Trust.
You should have a 1st class or upper 2nd class honours degree in
engineering or physical science, will ideally have completed the IPEM
Training Scheme including a postgraduate degree, and will probably have
been working in a rehabilitation unit for at lease a year. Having some
experience of gait measurement and analysis will be an advantage.
