  • Defining posture

    Biomech -

The ISO Working Group on Wheelchair Seating (ISO TC173 SC1 WG11) is working
to develop an international standard to define reference planes and
landmarks on the human body to define the position (posture) of a seated
    individual . For example:
leg-to-foot angle, pelvis anterior/posterior tilt angle, and sitting height.

The working group is familiar with:
    - ISO 7250 Basic human body measurements for technological design
    - Methods for measuring and representing automobile occupant posture (SAE
    Technical Series)

Are there any other existing definitions for body reference planes and
    landmarks for anthropometric measurements?
Any information would be much appreciated.
