Applicants should hold a doctorate or be close to completion of a doctorate.
Applicants should provide evidence of their commitment and contribution to
excellence in research and teaching, as well as of any relevant management
experience. The Faculty has a standard five-course teaching load spread
over two 13-week terms. It supports research efforts with micro and mainframe
computing, travel funds, secretarial support and professional development
funds. A progressive performance oriented merit increment system favours
published research. Success in promotion and probationary reviews requires
evidence of effective teaching. Fringe benefits including health care are
excellent; the salary is competitive.
You will be joining a Faculty of 48 academic staff of whom five are in the
Organizational Behaviour field and two are in Industrial Relations.
Additionally, the Centre for Technology Studies coordinates and facilitates
inter-disiplinary research and publishes TECHNOLOGY STUDIES.
Lethbridge offers low housing costs in a community of 65,000 people with
excellent PUBLIC schools and recreational facilities. It is located 120 miles
south of Calgary, and 70 miles from Glacier National Park in Montana or
Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta.
