in 1974 by David H. Sutherland, MD, the Motion Lab continues to be at
    the forefront of gait analysis.

The successful applicant will be actively involved in both clinical
processes and research projects. The functions of the position include,
    but are not limited to:
    * Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrade and repair of all
systems (hardware and software) used in patient data collection,
    processing and reporting.
    * Gain and maintain expertise in motion analysis processes and products.
    * Hands-on preparation of patients for analysis.
    * Modify all systems (hardware and software) to accommodate specific
    patient needs.
    * Technical support for team members and collaborators.
    * Participation in all aspects of research, including grant writing,
literature review, experimental design, specification, set up, and use
of experimental systems, data analysis, and written and oral
    presentations of results.

This exciting opportunity will allow the Bioengineer to take a lead role
in clinical data collection/processing and act as the main source of
technical support in the Motion Lab, while supporting the Director of
Research in attracting funding in the fields of Motion Analysis and
Sports Medicine. Applicants should have a Masters Degree in
Bioengineering, Biomechanics, or Kinesiology, or a Bachelors Degree with
a minimum of one year of experience in a related field. The successful
applicant will demonstrate proficiency in calculus, analytic geometry,
linear algebra, and mechanics, as well as the use of Motion Lab
instrumentation, including motion measurement systems, EMG, force
plates, foot pressure systems, oxygen consumption and video equipment.
Knowledge of basic electronic components and circuitry and proficiency
in at least one computer programming language is extremely preferable.

Applicants should send a detailed curriculum vitae to:
