    REHABILITATIVE EXERCISE: tenure-track faculty position, open rank;
    California State University, Los Angeles.

    Minimum qualifications: doctoral degree with central focus on exercise
    science and neuromuscular rehabilitative exercise; ability to teach courses
    in rehabilitative exercise; and demonstrated ability and/or interest in
    working in a multi-ethnic, multicultural environment.

    Preferred qualifications: ability to teach courses in other areas of
    expertise needed in the department; experience developing, managing, and
    evaluating a long-term, rehabilitative exercise program for people
    transitioning out of medical treatment and physical therapy; identifiable
    program of research in neuromuscular rehabilitative exercise; experience
    interfacing with people and agencies in local communities; experience
    collaborating with other faculty; and experience seeking external funds
    through grants and contracts.

    Duties: teach undergraduate and graduate courses; develop a clinical
    neuromuscular rehabilitative exercise program; develop working relationships
    in the surrounding community, and with other faculty; seek external grants
    and contracts; supervise student interns in rehabilitative exercise; advise
    students; carry out publishable scholarship; and participate in other
    service to the department, university, and community.

    Rank and Salary: Rank Open, Tenure Track: Salary, rank, and possible tenure
    commensurate with qualifications and experience. If unable to fill, may
    revert to a temporary appointment.

    Position Open Until Filled: Review of complete applications will begin March
    10, 2000. Appointment beginning Fall Quarter 2000. Employment contingent on
    proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
