  • Gait inverse dynamics in treadmill

    Dear All,
I have two main problems using a treadmill for my experiments .
One is the classical problem to perform inverse dynamics analysis. There
are no measured G.R.F. (Ground Reaction Forces).
    Two possible solutions:
    1. Force platforms mounted under the treadmill(s) belt(s). DOES ANYBODY
    KNOW ABOUT THEM?
I have a reference of the people in Heidelberg and Cologne that have
    developed such a system.
In this case we would need two force-platforms and two treadmills (or a
    double band treadmill), don't we?.
    2. Measure the G.R.F. under the plantar aspect of the foot, pressure
insoles could give an estimation of the vertical component of the G.R.F.
and the point of application of the force. But only an estimation, isn't
it?. DOES ANYBODY KNOW ABOUT AN INSOLE CAPABLE OF MEASURING THE OTHER
    COMPONENTS OF THE GRF?

At the moment I am trying to purchase a treadmill that could fit most of
    my requirements.

    Yours sincerely,
    Arturo Forner-Cordero
