Following the success of the Summer School experiences, ISEA (International Sports Engineering Association) is proud to announce the First Winter School in Sports Engineering that will be held in the area of Cortina – ITALY, at the heart of the DOLOMITES from the 13th-18th March 2011.
The School will focus on WINTERSPORTS, giving to students the possibility to enhance their knowledge and expertise on ski, snowboard, cross country ski and other winter sport disciplines. The School will combine theoretical lectures given by expert professors active in the field of Sports Engineering, technical sessions, with a hands-on approach to the application and use of sensors and systems for wintersport equipment, and field test sessions in the slopes where equipment and data collection systems will be used in the snow, taking advantage of the seasonal snow and the unique environment of Cortina’s valley.
The Winter School is adressed to engineers and sports scientists.
