  • OpenSim workshop @TGCS symposium in Leuven (Belgium): June 30th, 2011

We are happy to announce that the Stanford faculty (S. Delp, A. Seth and several other OpenSim experts) will organize an Opensim Workshop on June 30th, 2011 in Leuven (Belgium) prior to the Computer Simulation Symposium (http://www.mech.kuleuven.be/TGCS2011/).

This workshop will target two user groups:
    1) Beginner Users who have minimal prior experience with OpenSim, but want to learn how to apply musculoskeletal model and simulation to answer biomechanics research questions.
    2) Advanced Users who already have experience importing experimental data into Opensim and running the standard workflow, but that would like to extend their use to more advanced applications (e.g. defining customized plugins).

A preliminary program will be posted shortly on the website.

As the workshop will be restricted to a limited number of participants, we ask interested parties to contact us by email at TGCS@faber.kuleuven.be Please let us know if you are a Beginner User or Advanced User. If you are an Advanced User, please additionally describe the nature of your prior work with OpenSim. We ask both Beginner and Advance Users to also describe the specific topics they would like to cover at the workshop.

We expect to confirm your participation by April 1st, 2011.

    Kind Regards,
Ilse Jonkers , Joris De Schutter, Friedl De Groote
    and
    the Stanford Opensim team
