CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
The Academy’s Annual Meeting Clinical Content Committee invites you to submit abstracts for consideration for the 38th Academy Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium.
Submission Deadline: August 5, 2011
Abstracts MUST be Submitted Online
Presentation Categories
* Thranhardt Lectures present the clinical, research, statistical analysis, results and conclusions of an abstract.
* Free Papers offer solutions to common problems, patient and practice management techniques, innovative uses of technology, or current research findings.
* Poster Presentations provide an overview of a clinically relevant subject, such as a case study, critical review of the literature, or a new technique where conclusions can be drawn
NOTE: THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS IS SEPTEMBER 30. Complete submission guidelines for this type of presentation are available via this link (http://www.oandp.org/meeting2012/abstracts_posters.asp).
The Clinical Content Committee will review ALL abstracts as potential Thranhardt Lectures, unless the author designates that they do not want their paper considered. The committee will select the 2012 Thranhardt finalists and Free Paper presentations. Abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Clinical Content Committee, which reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts.
Abstracts must adopt the IMRD (introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusion) format and must use the online submission template. Complete submission guidelines and samples of completed submission forms are available at www.academyannualmeeting.org.
All abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Clinical Content Committee, which reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts for inclusion in the program.
