On behalf of the international scientific committee I am pleased to announce that abstract submission is now open for ICEL7 (International Conference on Canine and Equine Locomotion). This year the conference is going to Sweden where we will meet from June 25th-28th 2012 in Stromsholm, a former army centre of horse and rider education and Royal Breeding Stud in the 17th century.
For more detailed instructions about abstract submission please refer to the conference web site
http://www-conference.slu.se/icel7.
Submission deadline is 15 January and abstracts should be submitted according to the instructions to the following e-mail address: abstract_icel7@slu.se.
New for this year's conference is that in addition to equine locomotion the conference will also be open to work on canine locomotion. Objective of the meeting is the promotion of knowledge and understanding in the multidisciplinary field of biomechanics applied to equine and canine health and performance: from tissue mechanics research to motion analysis, from instrumentation development and modeling to clinical trials of new treatments for locomotor disorders.
On behalf of the international scientific committee I cordially invite you to join us in Sweden this summer and to submit your contributions by January 15th via the above email address.
All the best and looking forward to seeing you
Thilo Pfau
