The goal of the travel grant is to provide opportunities to Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral students to help defray the costs of attending the scientific meetings to present their research. Five awardees will receive 250 Euros each for travel or accommodation expenses during the 2012 CMBBE meeting in Berlin.
The travel grants are awarded to students pursuing graduate degrees and Post-doctoral work in the field of biomechanics (including but not limited to the use of electromyography (EMG) in Gait assessment & Rehabilitation, Motor control, Exercise physiology, Strength Training, and Ergonomics). Abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentation or both are eligible for the award.
