    We are delighted to announce that the 17th Annual Meeting of the Functional Electrical Stimulation Society (IFESS) will be held in Banff, Alberta, Canada in September 2012 (www.ifess2012.com). Call for Papers and for Pre-Conference Workshop Proposals is now open.

    IFESS 2012 CALL FOR PAPERS AND PRECONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

    The 17th IFESS (International Functional Electrical Stimulation Society) Annual Meeting (www.ifess2012.com) will be held in Banff, Canada, September 9 -12, 2012 with pre-conference workshops on September 8, 2012; IFESS would like to extend a warm invitation to all researchers, educators, health care providers, business representatives, government representatives, and policy experts from around the world to hear, learn, and share the latest advances in functional electrical stimulation technology. This year's theme of the conference will be “Smart Machines - Neural Evolution” and will highlight the past, present and future of FES technology.
