Venue: Huxing Technology Library, Hongqiao Road 2216, Shanghai, China
It is with pleasure we announce the 1st Asian Symposium on Application of EMG in biomechatronics which will be held on May 7, 2012 at Huxing Technology Library, Hongqiao Road 2216, Shanghai, China. The symposium is organized by a consortium of biomechatronics researchers with intent to continue this as an annual event.
The goal of the symposium is to provide a platform for communicating and sharing experiences among the researchers who have interests in understanding the principles and application of EMG in biomechatronics area such as prosthetics, orthotics, neuroprosthetics, exoskeleton, and rehabilitation robotics.
The hand-on symposium will be composed of a series of research talks and interactive demonstrations by invited speakers from China, United States and Franc. They include:
• Guanglin Li (Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences)
• Mitsuhiro Hayashibe (University of Montpellier)
• Dingguo Zhang (Shanghai Jiao Tong University)
