    GCMAS 2013 Call for Abstracts and Tutorials

    The Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society invites you to participate in the 2013 GCMAS Meeting, to be held May 14-17, 2013 at the Hilton Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati, OH USA. This announcement is the first call for abstracts for podium or poster presentations in all areas of gait and clinical movement analysis.
    Abstracts and proposals for tutorials in all areas of human movement analysis are welcome, and will be selected for the 2013 scientific program via a competitive, peer-review process.

    The 2013 Program Committee encourages submissions related to the following topics:
    • Assessment and treatment of movement disorders caused by disease or injury.
    • Model-based evaluation and treatment planning.
    • Advances in gait rehabilitation.
    • Functions of muscles and joints.
    • Clinical case studies.
    • New tools and technologies for measurement and/or analysis.
    Abstract and tutorial submissions must be received by October 19, 2012, 11:59 pm EST. Authors will be notified of acceptance by late December.

    About the GCMAS Annual Meeting :

      This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society (GCMAS). Cincinnati Children’s is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
      This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
      Application will be made for approval of continuing education hours from the Ohio Physical Therapy Association.

        Deadline extension! The deadline for abstract and tutorial submissions for the 2013 GCMAS Meeting has been extended one week. The new deadline is 10/26/2012, 11:59 pm EST. Take advantage of the extra time--finish up those abstracts and submit today!
