WEBSITE: http://eventos.unipampa.edu.br/neuromecanica (there is a link to English version available)
Organization:
Federal University of Pampa (UNIPAMPA)
Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (FAPERGS)
About the Symposium:
In 2010 we organized the first Symposium on Applied Neuromechanics. The event was held in Uruguaiana in the very young Federal University of Pampa (established in 2008). The topic of first edition was "human aging". Last year, the second edition was organized in the Federal University of Santa Maria and main topic was the 3D analysis of human movement. The former edition had speakers from USA and Canada and participants from different regions of Brasil, Uruguay and Argentine. The "III Symposium on Applied Neuromechanics: Innovation for Exercise and Rehabilitation - 2012" wants to bring together students and researchers interested in the innovation applied for exercise and rehabilitation. We are looking forward to host all the participants for 3 days of intense scientific and social interaction in the very south of Brazil, in the small city of Uruguaiana, close to Argentine and Uruguay, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It is also a preparatory event looking forward the 24rd Congress of the International Society of Biomechanics that will be in Brazil next year, and the 15º Congress of the Brazilian Society of Biomechanics.
Important Dates:
Abstract Submission Deadline: November 11, 2012
Early Registration Deadline: October 1, 2012
Venue:
Federal University of Pampa, Uruguaiana, RS, Brasil
