Non-surgical, Multidisciplinary Management of Knee Osteoarthritis
Össur (www.ossur.com) and the University of Iceland (www.hi.is) would like to invite you to a two day congress entitled "Non-surgical, Multidisciplinary Management of Knee Osteoarthritis."
An internationally renowned panel of experts will discuss state-of-the-art, non-surgical, multidisciplinary management of knee osteoarthritis. This congress offers an opportunity to gather in a relaxed environment to discuss the latest treatment available for this debilitating disease. Attendance will be beneficial for researchers in the area of lower limb orthopedics/biomechanics and clinical professionals currently treating knee OA and will also provide the opportunity to visit Iceland. Iceland topped the 2012 list of best travel destinations in the world in the National Geographic Traveler Magazine and was recently awarded “Best Adventure Travel Destination” in 2012 by the Sunday Times.
Of particular interest to this group will be the discussions around biomechanics, which play a major role in this disease and its management. Dr Favre from the Andriacchi BioMotion Laboratory at Stanford University will talk specifically on this subject.
