We are pleased to announce a new ISB SYMPOSIUM ON MOTOR CONTROL IN BIOMECHANICS that will be offered in the afternoon of July 8th 2014 within the upcoming 7th World Congress of Biomechanics (WCB), July 6th-11th, 2014, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
The ISB SYMPOSIUM ON MOTOR CONTROL IN BIOMECHANICS reflects the increased interest in scientific work that bridges the fields of Motor Control and Biomechanics. The Symposium will be opened with a Keynote Lecture by Prof. Zev Rymer, from the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and will bring together internationally renowned speakers in this area.
We are pleased to invite you to submit your work to the Motor Control theme (“Special Topics” track, www.wcb2014.com). Contributions in the areas of Motor Control in Biomechanics will be considered, including the areas of Motor Learning and Adaptation, Neuromechanics, Motor Units, Muscle Fatigue, Neurological and Musculoskeletal Pathologies, Robotics, Neuromusculoskeletal Modeling, and more.
Abstract submission will open on November 15th, 2013, and close on January 15th, 2014. For further details about this event, please visit www.wcb2014.com.
Additional information will be provided in the coming weeks.
We look forward to seeing you at the next WCB conference in Boston!
Sincerely,
Symposium Organizers:
Prof. Carlo J. De Luca, Boston University, USA
Prof. Philip Rowe, University of Strathclyde, UK
Prof. Paola Contessa, Boston University, USA
Prof. Serge H. Roy, Boston University, USA
Dr. Shey-Sheen Chang, Delsys Inc., Boston, USA
