    ISB SYMPOSIUM ON MOTOR CONTROL IN BIOMECHANICS – July 8th, 2014


    We are pleased to announce that the ISB SYMPOSIUM ON MOTOR CONTROL IN BIOMECHANICS at the next World Congress of Biomechanics (WCB) will be offered on July 8th 2014 in Boston, MA, USA (visit the event page for details).

    The Symposium will open with a Keynote Lecture by Prof. Zev Rymer from the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and will feature internationally renowned speakers.

    CALL FOR ABSTRACTS at WCB 2014 – July 6th-11th 2014

    We would like to remind you to submit your abstract for podium and poster presentation to the Motor Control “Special Topics” track on the www.wcb2014.com website. Abstract submission is now open at http://wcb2014.com/event-info/call-for-papers and will close on January 15th, 2014.

    Note that abstracts will be reviewed on a continuous basis and the number of podium presentations will be limited, hence early submission is encouraged.

    All contributions in the areas of Motor Control in Biomechanics will be considered, including Motor Learning and Adaptation, Neuromechanics, Motor Units, Muscle Fatigue, Neurological and Musculoskeletal Pathologies, Robotics, Neuromusculoskeletal Modeling, and more.

    Submission Deadline: 15th January 2014

    We are pleased to announce a new ISB SYMPOSIUM ON MOTOR CONTROL IN BIOMECHANICS that will be offered in the afternoon of July 8th 2014 within the upcoming 7th World Congress of Biomechanics (WCB), July 6th-11th, 2014, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

    The ISB SYMPOSIUM ON MOTOR CONTROL IN BIOMECHANICS reflects the increased interest in scientific work that bridges the fields of Motor Control and Biomechanics. The Symposium will be opened with a Keynote Lecture by Prof. Zev Rymer, from the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and will bring together internationally renowned speakers in this area.

    We are pleased to invite you to submit your work to the Motor Control theme (“Special Topics” track, www.wcb2014.com). Contributions in the areas of Motor Control in Biomechanics will be considered, including the areas of Motor Learning and Adaptation, Neuromechanics, Motor Units, Muscle Fatigue, Neurological and Musculoskeletal Pathologies, Robotics, Neuromusculoskeletal Modeling, and more.
