    10th Annual Injury Biomechanics Symposium
    May 18th-20th, 2014

    The 10th Annual Injury Biomechanics Symposium will be held to stimulate and reward strong injury biomechanics research among students and recent graduates. The Injury Biomechanics Symposium Committee invites abstracts of prospective presentations for the Injury Biomechanics Symposium. Abstracts are desired in all areas of traumatic injury biomechanics research, including human subject testing, sports injury studies, crash safety evaluation, and anthropomorphic dummy research. All selected podium presenters will prepare a written manuscript to be included in the symposium proceedings.
    Abstract submissions should include the following information:
    1. A tentative title that clearly reflects the objectives and contents of the paper

    2. Information required for each author: Name, Current Affiliation, Address, Phone, Fax, and E-mail
    Additional information required for Primary Author:
    *University where research was completed
    *The department/program enrolled in (e.g. Mechanical Engineering)
    *Degree sought during work done for Symposium paper (e.g. B.S., M.S., Ph.D.)
    *Studentís start/completion date of degree (if in progress list expected graduation)
    *The name of the studentís advisor
    Note: Additional authors do no need to be students or recent graduates

    3. An abstract of no more than 500 words containing:
    *Clear statement of the objective of the study
    *Outline of the problem that the study attempts to solve
    *Data to be included
    *Summary of results and current conclusions of the study

    4. State whether you would prefer a poster or an oral presentation slot. The committee reserves the right to alter the presentation type based on the submitted abstracts.
