I would like to draw your attention to a ‘Call for Papers’ for the 2014 British Association for Cognitive Neuroscience Annual Scientific Meeting that will be held at the University of York on the 11th and 12th of September 2014.
I would be most grateful if you could circulate the call widely to your colleagues.
The programme will consist of a number of cross cutting themes (including attention, working memory, sensorimotor function etc) and the presentation of new research methods and techniques. In addition, there will be a lively social programme!
I invite you to submit abstracts for poster or oral presentations (max. 250 words, containing summaries of the aims, methods, results, conclusions), along with a title and details of the authors and their affiliations. Please also indicate the type of presentation (talk or poster). Talks will be approximately 15 minutes in length (including discussion) and posters will be displayed throughout the meeting.
I also invite you to submit proposals for symposia.
All submissions should be emailed to Martin Edwards (martin.edwards@uclouvain.be).
Symposia deadline: 7th March 2014
Abstract deadline: 30th May 2014
Further details about the meeting can be found at the association's website:
http://www.bacn.co.uk/meetings.html, including details of the student bursaries (deadline 30th May 2014), presented towards the bottom of the webpage.
I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
Yours Sincerely
Martin Edwards
