  • 2014 South Central American Society of Biomechanics Meeting (SCASB)

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to formally invite you to the 2014 South Central American Society of Biomechanics Conference. This year's meeting will be held at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, TX on Friday April 25 and Saturday April 26, 2014. You can find more information at our website - http://community.tsrhc.org/SCASB

This meeting is designed for biomechanics researchers, allied health professionals, students and faculty, and will specifically focus on the mechanics and study of human motion. Our goals are to provide a platform to share and discuss current research endeavors in human movement science, particularly for student attendees, and to create an environment in which researchers, educators and students may exchange ideas and create future collaborations.

I encourage researchers, faculty and students interested in human movement to take advantage of this free regional meeting! This is also a great venue for students and new researchers to gain valuable experience presenting their work.

Abstract submission and conference registration is now open. The deadline for submissions in Friday March 21st.

We would like to thank our sponsor, Tekscan, Inc for their continued support. We look forward to seeing you in Dallas in April!
