High loads appear in the spine during daily activities such as walking, sitting, lifting or carrying objects. For applications in the orthopedic, ergonomic, automotive and other areas these loads can be critical, but due to the complexity in the lumbar spine, they can be difficult to determine. This study investigated the influence of vertebral geometrical parameters on lumbar spine loads.
