The Applied Neuromechanics Symposium is among the important scientific events of the Rio Grande do Sul State in Brazil. From a small meeting amongst professors and students, aimed at discussing Science in Applied Neuromechanics, the symposium has crossed the State frontiers involving speakers from differentes places of the world and participants from different locations in Brazil. In its 5thEdition, the event extends its role in the scientific development of the Rio Grande do Sul State, and it will be conjointly organized by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Caxias do Sul University (UCS) and Federal University of Pampa (UNIPAMPA). The Gaucho Serra displays a very special and peculiar soil, known by its vineyards and wines. However, it is also rich in brains thirsty in knowledge in the area of Applied Neuromechanics. With the theme ADAPTATION TO EXERCISE, TRAINING AND REHABILITATION, the event expects to attract the attention of health professionals and professionals from other areas in order to create strategies and improvement of the existent techniques to promote quality of life and health of people in general during exercise and training, as well as patients returning to a healthy condition through rehabilitation programs. Como to meet the Gaucho Serra, taste a good wine and discuss science in this cozy ambience of the V SNA.
