  • 3-day-Workshop: Musculoskeletal Modeling and Simulation, 23.-25.09.2014

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Dendorfer and his Laboratory for Biomechanics of the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg in Germany would like to invite you to an

    Intensive 3-day Workshop, 23.-25. September 2014:

Musculoskeletal Modeling and Simulation - Hands-On with the AnyBody Modeling System
    in Regensburg, Germany

The course will include a review and discussion of important theoretic background, but emphasis will be on practical skills to perform musculoskeletal simulations with the AnyBody Modeling System.

The course will span several areas of musculoskeletal simulation, from medical device development to ergonomics, sport performance, general biomechanics and academic/clinical research.

    The tentative course schedule:
    • Day 1: AnyBody Modeling System and Model Repository, Kinematics, Muscle Models/Recruitment
    • Day 2: Templates, Scaling Options, Motion Capture
    • Day 3: Advanced Models (parameter or optimization studies), Interfaces to other software

All days will be a mix between theory and applied hands-on modeling.

Each participant will be provided with a 3 month license for the AnyBody Modeling System. Therefore, course attendees are asked to bring a laptop on which software can be installed.

You will find further information about transportation, accommodation and everything you need to know on http://rcbe.de/en/abworkshop2014/
Application ist open now: http://rcbe.de/en/abws-application/ .

    This event is organized by:
    - Laboratory for Biomechanics, Faculty Mechanical Engineering, OTH Regensburg, Germany
    - Regensburg Center of Biomedical Engineering, OTH and University of Regensburg, Germany
    - AnyBody Technology, Aalborg, Denmark
