Dear All, this is the second announcement for the CISM course on "Bone Cell and Tissue Mechanics" that will be held in Udine (Italy) on June 22-26 in 2015. The course should be of interest to graduate students, PhD candidates, post-doctoral fellows and young faculty members in the field of, e.g., bone: biomechanics, cell biology, tissue engineering and systems biology.
The course has a long history (since 1987) and many of the former students now are active bone researchers. And being a summer school, there will be plenty of time to interact with the teachers, as well as for other activities in the nice little town of Udine. Note that CISM is a non-profit organization, and that Udine offers reasonably priced accommodation.
A summary of the topics and teachers can be found below. More information about the program and registration is available at: http://www.cism.it/courses/C1503/
Hope to see you there!
Bert van Rietbergen.
