MathSport International 2015 will be hosted at Loughborough University (UK), from the 29th June - 1st July 2015.
This is the 5th conference in Europe in the biennial series that brings together Mathematics and Sport.
Topics will include:
Keynote lectures:
Professor Sigrid Knust (University of Osnabrück): "Construction methods for sports league schedules"
Dr Ian McHale (University of Manchester): "Identifying the all-time greatest in some sports"
Professor Tony Purnell (Head of Technology, British Cycling): "Model + Measurement = Medals, but in a non-deterministic way"
Mr David Kendix (Actuary and cricket statistician): "Modelling uncertainty in finance and sport"
