Version 7.0 of Simpleware’s 3D image processing and model generation software suite ScanIP introduces new add-on Physics modules that use finite element (FE) based homogenisation to calculate the effective material properties of scanned samples. +SOLID allows you to calculate linear elastic properties, +FLOW absolute permeability, and +LAPLACE electrical/thermal/molecular properties.
