CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
39th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Biomechanics
August 5-8, 2015
The 2015 ASB abstract submission website is now open, with abstracts being accepted until 5:00 PM EST on March 15, 2015.
The 39th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Biomechanics will be held August 5-8, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. The organizers of ASB encourage the submission of abstracts on the entire spectrum of biomechanics-related research including but not limited to gait, posture and balance, rehabilitation engineering, ergonomics, musculoskeletal and orthopedic mechanics, prosthetics, orthotics and exoskeletons, cellular, molecular and tissue mechanics, comparative biomechanics, motor control, computational modeling and simulation, sports and teaching. The program will include multiple parallel sessions, research symposia and thematic poster sessions, lab tours, tutorials, keynote lectures by Dr. Allison Okamura and Dr. Bill Marras, best paper competitions (Clinical Biomechanics, Journal of Biomechanics), and honorary awards (Borelli, Hay, Young Scientist Pre-Doctoral, Young Scientist Post-Doctoral). Meeting information is available through the meeting website (http://u.osu.edu/asb2015/), including links for the abstract template and submission, meeting registration, updated news and details on the eligibility and nominating requirements for each of the ASB awards.
