The Section on Research (SOR) of the American Physical Therapy Association is accepting applications to attend the 2015 research retreat to be held at Bryant University* in Smithfield, Rhode Island, July 26-30, 2015. A distinguished ensemble of pain researchers from across the globe will present such topics as the basic science of pain, psychosocial aspects of pain, experimental pain models, pediatric pain, acute and chronic pain, pain assessment, and pain management and rehabilitation. This is a Gordon-style event, with talks scheduled in the morning and evening, with ample time for networking and collaboration building in the afternoons and evening social hours. This event is suitable for researchers, clinicians and educators who study conditions that involve pain.
