ABSTRACT DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 22 MAY
NOTE REGISTRATION FEES OF £110 for authors, £100 for PhD students
The latest hip conference organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers will be held in Westminster in London, on 3-4 November 2015.
This conference will review current challenges in hip surgery, rehabilitation and outcomes including advances in assessment techniques, emerging technologies and materials. Also reviewed will be challenges in bringing new technology to market and early interventional surgery and rehabilitation that aims to prevent osteoarthritis. It will consider conventional hip arthroplasty, the materials, tribology and fixation of implants, whilst failure investigations into arthroplasty and early interventional surgery will be performed.

Send a 500 word abstract of your proposed paper to eventenquiries@imeche.org. Your abstract should be written in English.
Selected authors will then be informed and invited to submit an extended abstract of up to 2,000 words by 1 September 2015 for publication in the conference proceedings.

o Femoroacetabular impingement
o Hip arthroscopy
o Risk of failures
• Total hip replacement

o Biomechanics of rehabilitation
o Functional Outcome Measures
