  • CPN Challenge Cambridge, UK (Paralysis Grants) - Wed 25th November (7pm)

Conquer Paralysis Now (CPN) and InnoCentive invite you to take part in a discussion about the exciting and revolutionary CPN Challenge (https://www.omnicompete.com/cpnchallenge.html) on Wednesday 25th November at Downing College, University of Cambridge with guest speaker Professor James Fawcett. The event will begin at 7pm and complimentary refreshments will be available.

The CPN Challenge will award $20 million in grants and prizes for spinal cord injury research over the next 10 years. Stage I of the Challenge was launched in 2014, and in the first round of grants, 12 teams were awarded $700,000 of grants. The second round recently launched in which 12 grants of at least $50,000 are available in 6 different categories. These grants are available to researchers anywhere in the world and all teams have to do is submit proposals online through the crowdsourcing platform, InnoCentive.

If you are a researcher interested in applying for one of the grants, or simply someone interested in SCI, then join us on 25th November. The CPN Challenge believes it can change the lives of the millions of people around the world living with SCI and would love you to help them.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP by registering at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/conquer...ts-19440513098

Thank you for posting this challenge. I am a researcher in the US. Is there any way to attend Wednesday's discussion virtually?

    Thanks,

      Hi Tamara,

Unfortunately, there will be no virtual access or webinar. However, the Challenge is open to international investigators and we would love you apply. You can find out more about our grants that are currently available and apply at https://www.omnicompete.com/cpnchallenge.html.

      Best wishes,
      Michael
