Dear colleagues,
The Department of Biology of Physical Activity at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland organises an annual symposium, bringing together sport scientists, clinicians, coaches and individuals working in professional sport.
This year the symposium will take place between 21-23 September 2016, and is organised by the biomechanics group under the heading “Biomechanics of Human Movement: Mechanisms and Methods”.
We have assembled a high quality programme of invited speakers, but also have a number of free oral presentation slots, as well as daily poster sessions. Those interested in presenting their research at the symposium are invited to submit a 250 word abstract (submission opens April 1st).
Preliminary information about the programme, as well as other practical information, can be found at the symposium homepage, which will be continually updated:
Please also feel free to forward this information to your students and colleagues. We look forward to welcoming you to Jyväskylä.
On behalf of the organisers:
