Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As you know, the 2017 Summer Biomechanics, Bioengineering and Biotransport Conference (SB3C2017) will be held in beautiful Tucson, Arizona at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Hotel & Spa, June 21-24, 2017.

We are delighted to announce that the portal for abstract submission to the SB3C2017 is now open!

The theme of this year’s conference is “Growth, Development, Remodeling, and Repair”. The meeting will include a broad range of plenary lectures, symposia, and workshops related to the overall theme, as well as technical sessions developed by technical committees based on submitted abstracts.

The deadline for regular abstract submission is January 17 at 11:59pm CST! Please prepare your abstracts and upload them via OASIS. For more information, please visitSB3C.org. New this year – later deadline for undergraduate-level abstracts.The deadline for the undergraduate entries (BS-Level Student Paper Competition and Undergraduate Design Competition) and Diversity Travel Awards is February 15, 2017.

The Venue

SB3C2017 will be held at the beautiful JW Marriott Star Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona. Adjacent to the saguaro-covered foothills of the Sonoran Desert, the resort promises exceptional meeting space with plenty of recreational activities. From hiking to golf to waterslides and a lazy river, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The venue is just over 12 miles from the Tucson International Airport (TUS), and less than two hours’ drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).
