AOPA Hosted World Congress

Join us September 6-9 for the 2017 World Congress in Las Vegas as we celebrate 100 years of service to the O&P Profession
The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) and its partners are pleased to announce that the World Congress Clinical Content committee has arranged to have a selected number of scientific submissions published in a special edition of the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation.
As the content of the clinical education program continues to improve and with a desire to attract increasingly significant and important work, the planning committee has created the special designation of “Presidential Paper” for the top-10 clinical education submissions.
While the Thranhardt Lecture Series will always be considered the Best of the Best—this world congress designation will only be granted for original research backed by a full manuscript.
If you would like to have your submission considered for publication in this special Presidential Papers supplement, please select that choice during the submission process.
In addition to publication, authors of these Presidential Papers will have a podium presentation of their paper and will be given special recognition at the meeting. A small scholarship will be provided to offset travel expenses.
