15^th International Symposium on 3-D Analysis of Human Movement, July 3-6, 2018

**Abstract Submission Deadline: February 2nd 2018**

We are pleased to be hosting the 15^th International Symposium on 3-D Analysis of Human Movement in Salford, Greater Manchester, UK on July 3-6, 2018. This is our last call for Abstracts. The 3-D Analysis of Human Movement Group (http://www.geocities.ws/3d-ahm), a technical group of the International Society of Biomechanics (ISB), provides a forum for the discussion of all issues relating to the measurement of human movement in three dimensions. The theme of the 2018 symposium is ‘Human Movement - Principles and Practice”: James Joule was working in Salford when he discovered the mechanical equivalent of heat. One of his most famous quotations provides the theme for our symposium: “My object has been, first to discover correct principles and then to suggest their practical development”. This symposium aims to have a particular focus on outlining the principles underlying our discipline and presenting work demonstrating how these principles can be applied in practice.

Dear all,

Some additional information regarding our 2nd call for abstracts for the 15^th International Symposium on 3-D Analysis of Human Movement in Salford, Greater Manchester, UK on July 3-6, 2018 (submission deadline: February 2nd 2018, see www.salford.ac.uk/3dahms-2018): we are planning a student programme that will include a student breakfast, student night-out, and a mentoring programme, to enhance the students' general experience and to further their network. For the mentoring programme we are looking for experienced researchers that are happy to have lunch with a small number of allocated students to discuss research in general and also career progression. If you would like to support the mentoring programme or have any further questions regarding the student programme in general, please email our student ambassador Eleonora Costamagna for further details : E.Costamagna@edu.salford.ac.uk

With the Abstract Submission Deadline quickly approaching, this is our 3rd and final call for the 15^th International Symposium on 3-D Analysis of Human Movement in Salford, Greater Manchester, UK on July 3-6, 2018.

Following a number of requests, we have once more extended the Abstract Submission Deadline which will now beMonday February 19th 2018 for the 15^th International Symposium on 3-D Analysis of Human Movement!!
