    Dear Colleagues,

    Submit Your Project Idea at WearRAcon 18 and Find Out!

    The Wearable Robotics Association (WearRA) is inviting entries that represent the most innovative new ideas in wearable robotic technology for its 3rd Annual Innovation Competition at WearRAcon 18. Your proposal should present component or system technologies that will benefit the wearable robotics industry. Ideas can include technology to increase productivity on a manufacturing line, enhance safety in transportation, augment tool use in construction, enable the elderly to do more, help a hiker to climb tall mountains… the sky is the limit! The winner of the competetion will receive international recognition and $5,000 to propel your idea to commercial success. Last year’s winner was Volker Bartenbach from ETH Zurich, Switzerland (see picture below).

    Student Teams are Welcome!
    If you’ve got a cutting-edge idea, assemble a creative team and get to work! Don’t miss this opportunity to bring your idea to life… and possibly to market. Students receive the special rate of $250 to attend the event and present your idea. (limit 2 students per team)

    Contest Details:
    Upload your concept paper (No more than 4 pages) at by January 31, 2018. The review committee will select as many as eight finalists. All finalists will be invited to present their product concepts at WearRAcon 18, March 21-23 at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort near Phoenix, AZ.
