    The AAAM’s Scientific Program Committee (SPC) invites abstracts, for the 2019 63rd Annual Scientific Conference for the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine, describing original scientific work in all areas of study which support AAAM’s multidisciplinary mission: Saving lives and eliminating road traffic injuries.

    The conference will be held in Madrid, Spain at Comillas Pontifical University from October 15 through October 18, 2019.

    Scientific work may be reported in the following formats:


    All accepted submissions (papers, short communications, and poster abstracts) will be published in a special issue of the journal Traffic Injury Prevention (TIP). Students accepted for presentation of full-length papers and student symposium abstracts are eligible to receive complimentary registration to the conference and a travel stipend of up to $1,300.
