The 12th Progress in Motor Control conference will be held from July 7-10 in Amsterdam. Progress in Motor Control is a bi-annual conference series organized by the International Society of Motor Control that attracts about 300 participants. Every conference focusses on a specific theme within the field of Motor Control; in 2019 this will be 'Movement improvement'. Improving one's movements is an essential aspect of human life. It starts in early life when developing towards making the first steps. We continuously improve our motor repertoire and develop new skills. Movement improvement becomes in another way important when rehabilitating from an injury or learning to deal with the limitations of an aging body. This conference will bring together concepts of robotics, neuroscience, psychology, and rehabilitation science in the field of movement studies stimulating future works in this area.
In addition to 18 invited speakers, the conference has slots for a limited number of oral presentations and ample room for posters. The daily two-hour poster sessions are a central part of the conference; posters will have a landscape format to encourage discussions. You are invited to submit a short abstract for this conference. Deadline: January 18, 2019.
