Symposium on neuromechanics of legged locomotion at SEB, Seville, Spain, July 2019
Registration is now open for Society of Experimental Biology Conference, Seville, Spain, 2-5th July 2019. Consider submitting an abstract to our symposium on “Sensory and mechanical factors underlying stable and agile control of legged locomotion”. For more details on the symposium see: https://www.sebiology.org/events/eve...iology#sensory
Keynote speakers at this symposium include:
- Kiisa Nishikawa (Northern Arizona University, USA) - Biological actuation in human engineered devices
- James Finley (University of Southern California, USA) - The costs and benefits of asymmetry during healthy and pathological gait
- Amir Patel (University of Cape Town, South Africa) - Towards an understanding of the cheetah tail using optimal control
- Charlotte Le Mouel (Computational Neuroscience of Sensory Systems, Institut de la Vision, France) - Learning to adjust body mechanics for efficient and versatile gait initiation
Abstract deadline is midnight (GMT) on 15th March 2019. To submit your abstract please follow this link: https://www.sebiology.org/events/eve...2019/abstracts. Apply for a travel grant to attend SEB Seville as well, all details available on the conference website: https://www.sebiology.org/events/event/seb-seville-2019
We look forward to seeing many of you there!
