We are seeking contributions for the recently-issued special section on Measuring Cognitive Workload in Human Factors of Human Factors:The Journal of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. Deadline is December 13th.



We welcome cross-disciplinary contributions from all area of human factors including Occupational Ergonomics, Transportation, Aviation, Nursing. Topics of interest include:

• Development of unique methodologies to measure cognitive workload;
• Adaptation of tools for cognitive workload to diverse fields of human factors;
• Dynamic fluctuations in cognitive workload during continuous human-machine interaction;
• Computational modelling of cognitive workload;
• Assessment of cognitive workload in teamwork.
