Download our call for papers and visit our conference website for full detailsIt is our pleasure to invite you to the 38th annual conference of the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports in Liverpool - the first time the conference has visited the UK. Liverpool is a wonderful small city, home to two cathedrals, the Beatles experience, a world-heritage waterfront, two football clubs, leading universities and more. The conference is hosted at the UK’s leading conference venue - ACC Liverpool and the conference dinner will be in the Neo-Classical St George’s Hall.
We have confirmed world-renowned speakers and will provide a diverse applied and social programme. We are also proud to support a 'Women in sports biomechanics' event. Registration includes all applied sessions, social activities and the conference dinner.
Call for papers in areas including: Athletics, paralympics, racquet sports, combat sports, water sports, injury, rehabilitation, cycling, football codes, strength & conditioning, muscle & tendon, modelling / simulation, equipment, imaging, wearable technology, education, motor control, methods / statistics and coaching
Students - apply for the mentorship programme, meet new students at the student social event, request a travel grant and submit for the New Investigator Award.
We would love to welcome you to Liverpool in July 2020.
