5th Motion Analysis Research Center Symposium - March 6 & 7, 2020
On the first Friday and Saturday of March each year, the Motion Analysis Research Center at Samuel Merritt University (Oakland, CA) hosts a two-day symposium highlighting motion analysis and clinical biomechanics in kinesiology, sports medicine, and rehabilitation. This event draws world-class clinicians and researchers to SMU to learn and share their experience and expertise with students, faculty, and community partners.
This year's annual symposium has the theme, Biomechanics of Human Movement: Injury Mechanisms, Rehabilitation, and Prevention. As in the past four symposia, we have invited some very dynamic keynote speakers to provide our attendees with an exciting and thought-provoking program of tutorials, workshops, and oral presentations. Our speakers include Mr. Patrick Barnes (Grassroots CrossFit Berkeley), Dr. Katherine Boyer (University of Massachusetts-Amherst), Dr. Nancy Byl (University of California, San Francisco), Dr. Alicia Knee (Samuel Merritt University), and Dr. Katherine Saul (North Carolina State University).
Call for abstracts (55-min tutorials, 85-min workshops, and presentations [oral 15-min and posters]): deadline is February 14, 2020. Please see our web page for more information.
Join us on Friday, March 6th and Saturday, March 7th, 2020.
