This webinar will showcase how Soterix Medical is using individualized transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) current flow models based on stroke patient data for treatment planning.
Part of the just concluded multi-center NIH Phase 2 trial, the webinar will first look at the methods used to create high-resolution highly accurate 3D models in Synopsys Simpleware software incorporating lesion anatomy. This is followed by discussing the electrode configuration optimization process and how individual-specific treatment is determined and finally ending with initial results from the trial.
With this webinar, Soterix Medical and Synopsys will demonstrate the implementation of a first patient-specific modeling pipeline for clinicians with the goal to improve patient outcomes.
