Image-based, patient-specific design workflows in Simpleware software sometimes need to leverage third-party CAD tools at the design stage. Exporting and importing models back and forth from one software platform to another can add significant time to any iterative workflow and make the process more manual, inefficient, and time-consuming than it needs to be.
During this presentation and demo, we will show how Simpleware Design Link allows users of Simpleware software and SOLIDWORKS® to harness the power of both software packages and speed up product development workflows. The module eliminates the need to import/export between the two packages. With Simpleware Design Link, updates are passed between SOLIDWORKS and Simpleware ScanIP with a single click, enhancing iterative product design workflows such as patient-specific implant planning.
